Hours will vary during the following times: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM and 9:30AM – 6:00PM

Job Summary:
Performs all responsibilities related to cooking and serving food for patients, employees, cafeteria, meals on wheels and catered events. Preps food for the next day, along with grab and go items. Serves on patient and cafeteria line and replenishes items as needed. Follows regulatory guidelines for preparing and serving safe food. Maintains counters, equipment, utensils and work area in a clean and sanitary manner daily. Heavy lifting required. Subject to cold, heat, wetness, moving parts, electrical equipment and cleaning agents. Washes pots/pans/utensils/dishes according to established procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies. Collects and disposes of trash. Assist with keeping carts clean& sanitized. Includes organizing, straightening and cleaning. May include sweeping & mopping. Various cafeteria duties including serving, stocking, cleaning. Cross trains for other positions.

Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
EXPERIENCE: One year quantity food cook experience preferred. Knowledge of working with fryer, steamer, ovens, grill, slicer, etc.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: ServSafe Certification Preferred
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: General knowledge of kitchen equipment.
