Ancillary Operations and Safety Supervisor (Full Time)

Job Summary:
Supervises radiology personnel, controls equipment and supplies. Assures quality control and safety of the Radiology Department, Ancillary Clinics, and Cath Lab. The supervisor also performs the Job Description of Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist.

Monday-Friday Day Shift

Minimum Qualification:
EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years experience in Diagnostic Radiology. Must be experienced in several disciplines of Radiology (i.e., US, CT, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine and PET, Special Procedures, and/or MRI)

LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: BLS certification will be obtained within 90 days of employment. Must be a Registered Technologist in good standing with ARRT. Must be Registered in at least one other discipline of Radiology

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Diagnostic Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment, Portable X-ray Machine, Portable C-Arm, PACS, all related Radiology equipment and computers.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 1. Knowledge of radiographic examinations (age specific) as well as procedures which require the use of contrast agents. 2. Knowledge of radiographic equipment operation. 3. Knowledge of Radiation Safety. 4. Knowledge of Management Skills 5. Good communication skills. 6. Good customer service skills. 7. Good ethical and professional conduct. 8. Knowledge of patient transportation methods.
