Cashier in Dietary (Full Time)

Collects money for food served to cafeteria patrons, makes change, tallies receipts and balances out cash register drawer while adhering to the “Cashier Agreement”. Cafeteria duties such as wiping tables, general cleaning, maintaining condiment counters and beverage station. Sets ups/maintains, serves, and does clean up of cafeteria serving lines. Keeps food and supply items in café stocked. Sweeps floors/mops as needed. Takes temperatures of food & equipment per policy. Complies with regulatory agency requirements. Sets ups serving areas, maintains, serves, and does other duties as required and requested. Treats guests, patients, physicians and employees with care, courtesy, and respect. Minimal food preparation Cross-trained to work in other positions.

Minimum Qualifications:
A) Education: High School Diploma or GED
B) Experience: Six months in food related area preferred.
C) Licenses, Certification and/or Registrations: None
D) Equipment, Tools, Work Aids: various kitchen equipment, cash register, adding machine
E) Specialized Knowledge and Skills: None

Full Time with Benefits
Hours could include: 6:00AM-3:00PM, 6:00 AM-2:30PM, 11:00AM- 7:00PM *when needed due to cross training
