Performs age specific diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing the necessary judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation in order to obtain diagnostic radiographs.
EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology or actively enrolled in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
EXPERIENCE: One year diagnostic radiology experience required. Three years diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: CPR certified.
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Diagnostic Radiographic equipment including PAC System, Practice Management System, Computers and other office equipment.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of radiographic examinations (age specific). Knowledge of radiographic equipment operation. Knowledge of Radiation Safety. Knowledge of patient transportation methods. Good communication skills. Good customer service skills. Good ethical and professional conduct.
