EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – ARISE TRANSPORTATION

JOB SUMMARY: The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ARISE transportation program.

Ensures optimum performance of the ARISE Transportation program
Assumes accountability and professional responsibility for managing program personnel
Ensures all program administrative functions are completed and reported as appropriate

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Associates Degree in business or other related field required
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics, or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Business experience to include finance and accounting required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Previous dispatching experience preferred
• 1 or more years in a transportation role preferred

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:

• Must have current AL CDL License or be eligible to obtain within 6 months of employment
