Home / Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)/Physician Asst. Hospital Medicine/ED/UC (Full Time)
To provide a team of advanced practice providers who can maintain competency for their individual departments. PA/NP works in collaboration with a physician in each care setting as needed. The Advanced Practice Provider performs comprehensive health assessments including history and physicals, procedure, places orders, interprets diagnostic and radiology tests, prescribes and reconciles medications, formulates a diagnosis and treatment plan, adheres to the quality metrics, and discharges patients with appropriate instructions or arranges transfer to a higher level of care as needed. This role includes the promotion of wellness, prevention of complications, and management of acute and chronic conditions. MUST provide excellent customer service at all times. **Must be Family NP certified**
Full time with benefits
HOURS: 7am-7pm, 10am-10p or 6pm-6am. Works 12 hour shifts. Could be day or night shift.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program
EXPERIENCE:1 year experience as an Advanced Care Provider post graduation preferred
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Current Physician Assistant/ Nursing License in the State of Alabama. Certified as a Nurse Practitioner. Certified as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Maintains current CPR certification. Maintains Continuing Medical Education requirements
