Registration Clerk- OBGYN Associates (Full Time)

Job Summary:
Responsible for answering Multi-Line Telephone system, scheduling and attending correct patient, assignment of patient to appropriate provider and type of visit, verifies and updates patient data and, collects co-pay and/ or balance due, balancing, opening and closing of cash drawer daily, faxing, filing, scanning, sorting mail. MUST provide excellent customer service at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced clerical training preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Preferred: Basic working knowledge of computers, excellent customer service with good verbal and written communication skills, 2 years medical office experience, knowledge of insurance regulations, collections, Medical terminology
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: None
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: EMR System, Windows, General Office Equipment, Multi-Line Telephone System, Credit/Debit Card Machine, Insurance Verification Software, Medical Necessity Software
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Good working knowledge of computer and keyboard operations as well as general office equipment; Capable of an accurate exchange of verbal and written information; Can write legibly and speak and read English; Knowledge of medical terms and exams/procedures

Full Time position with benefits
Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-12:30pm
