Night shift (7pm-7am)
(3) 12 hour shifts per week in ED
Coordinates unit activities on the assigned shift, including patient care, staff assignments, and staff development. Works in conjunction with the Nursing Supervisor and Director to maintain staff competency. Provides professional nursing care in accordance with medical plan of care.
EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years experience in the acute care unit assigned; prior leadership experience preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Registered Nurse, BLS within 90 days of hire required. OB/PEDS/ED: ACLS within 90 days; NRP and PALS within 6 months of employment in the role required.
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Patient therapeutic equipment/machines or their reasonable accommodation.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development. Proven ability to lead, in addition to advanced skills in the unit assigned.
