Temporary Assignment: 13 weeks
Full Time hours : NOT eligible for benefits
Schedule: 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
Call: Call coverage required every other week. Monday – Friday, 5:30 pm – 7:30 am and Saturday – Sunday, 24 hours
Performs age specific ultrasound procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in order to obtain diagnostic sonograms.
Qualifications: Must be ARDMS registered. Must be highly skilled in basic scanning on small and large body parts, pediatric and geriatric anatomy/procedures, abdominal scanning, extremity and vascular scanning, OB work, carotid work, prostate biopsies, breast biopsies, and interventional procedures.
EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Ultrasound.
EXPERIENCE: One year diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: BLS certification will be obtained within 90 days of employment. Must be a Registered Sonographer in good standing with ARDMS.
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Diagnostic Ultrasound Equipment, Computers.
