Multimodality Technologist (PRN)

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs age specific diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to obtain diagnostic imaging.  Performs contrast administration (if applicable) in multiple modalities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.

EXPERIENCE: Experience preferred

LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: BLS Certification within 90 days of hire. Must be a Registered Technologist in good standing with ARRT. Modality Specific Registered Technologist in good standing with ARRT.

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Diagnostic Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment, Portable X-ray Machine, Portable C-Arm, PACS, all related Radiology equipment and computers.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of radiographic examinations (age specific) as well as procedures which require the use of contrast agents. Knowledge of radiographic, mammographic, and stereotactic biopsy equipment operation. Knowledge of Radiation Safety. Knowledge of patient transportation methods. Good communication skills. Good customer service skills. Good ethical and professional conduct.
