UAB E-Medicine at Russell Medical
Russell Medical is proud to offer UAB E-Medicine Services at our main campus. We currently offer Tele-Stroke and Tele-Intensivist services with our facility.
Tele-Stroke:
The Russell Medical Tele-Stroke Program coordinates with UAB Medicine providers via a live video feed. UAB Medicine neurologists, who are specially trained in diagnosing and treating strokes, are connected by live video with local physicians to recommend diagnoses and treatments that can be given quickly in the Russell Medical Emergency Department. Using this Tele-Stroke technology, we are able to provide you timely stroke care, when seconds count.
