Monday-Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm/Friday 8:00 am- 12:30 pm
JOB SUMMARY: Upon completion of training and documentation of competency (as verified) by the Division Supervisor (Clinical), the Medical Assistant (MA) will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical and clerical support to patients presenting in physician office settings across all PMSG clinics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient screening, assisting providers, performing clinical procedures, administering injections, collecting blood samples, and completing clerical and documentation tasks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required
EXPERIENCE:
Medical office experience required with phlebotomy experience preferred
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:
> Medical Assistant Certification through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Health Career Association (NHA) or
American Medical Technologists (AMT) preferred
> Basic Life Support (BLS)

EMR System, Windows, General Office Equipment, Multi-line Telephone System, Glucose Meter, CBC Machine, Urinalysis Reader, Hemoglobin A1C Machine, Centrifuge, Immprint
