PET

Considered by many as one of the most important developments in diagnostic imaging, The PET (Positron Emission Tomography) is now offered at Russell Medical as a permanent on-site service.

PET is an imaging procedure that provides physicians with information about the body’s chemistry, cell function and exact location of disease. The powerful images can help diagnosis Alzheimer’s and help locate cancerous cells in the body.  The precise images obtained with PET are not available with other technologies, such as CT, MRI or X-ray. Thus, making the PET a heralded addition to Russell Medical.
